DevOps Lead — Financial Markets | Global Bank
A global bank is seeking a hands-on DevOps Lead to lead a team supporting its Financial Markets business. This role suits someone who combines strong technical expertise with a clear bias for action—removing bottlenecks, making decisions and accelerating delivery.
The role
- Lead and develop a DevOps team, setting clear priorities and driving execution.
- Experience integrating AI into the DevOps process
- Build and improve cloud infrastructure using Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes and Terraform.
- Strengthen CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code and automation to make releases faster and more reliable.
- Work closely with engineering and Financial Markets stakeholders to translate business priorities into delivery.
- Maintain production resilience, security and operational controls while increasing the pace of change.
Your background
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure, Kubernetes and Terraform.
- Previous financial services experience, ideally supporting financial markets or trading technology.
- Proven experience managing a team and taking ownership of delivery.
- A strong understanding of CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, container orchestration and production operations.
- A pragmatic, decisive approach, with evidence of shortening delivery cycles and improving engineering productivity.
